PADI Course Director
Becoming a scuba diver was a dream come true for me 20 years ago. I have always been a fish and now diving with the diverse life under water I feel at home. With my wife Diana at my side, we have dived all over the world and share this love with everyone we know. As a PADI Instructor and Course Director I can share my passion with new divers as well as experience divers. In addition to training new PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors, I also teach literally dozens of diving specialties. This includes Dry Suit, PADI TEC diving, Sidemount diving and even diving with Full Face Mask live you see on TC a lot. And is that’s not enough, come try diving with an underwater drive propulsion device (scooter).
Come to North Texas Scuba Divers and see the difference passion and dedication makes in your training.
PADI IDC Staff Instructor
As a Co-Owner and Instructor, I Have traveled all around the world diving, as a PADI Staff Instructor I can train divers from basic Open Water all the way to assistant Instructors and help North Texas Scuba Divers PADI Course Director in training new PADI Instructors.
PADI Instructor and PADI Rebreather Instructor.
I'm a Padi rebreather trainer, we can teach basic and advance rebreather at North Texas. I have logged hundreds of dives throughout the world. As a retired service member myself, I have personally witnessed the healing power that scuba has on people. I am also actively committed to protecting our oceans and raising awareness to conservation issues. I support these efforts through the Project AWARE Foundation, ocean clean-ups, as well as educating my students in their role in protecting our aquatic resources.
My passion for diving started with I was certified as a PADI Open Water Diver over 42 years ago. After my retirement as a Police Officer I was able to dive more and became a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor. With over 1000 dives, my diving passion quickly became a teaching passion and I have slowly moved up the PADI Instructor ladder to become a PADI Staff Instructor. As well as being passionate about teaching, I am a big fan of conservation. As we learn to dive we also learn to pick up debris that we may run across. We all want to teach others how do dive as well as how to protect the ocean environment

I am a nature lover and earth/environment advocate Since I was young boy I dreamt of learning to dive and live the amazing world that Jaques Custeau shared through his series.. life took its turns and delayed my learning. My son became interested in the underwater world and it opened the opportunity to fulfill my dream and we both took the first steps and we were instantly hooked. Bill Nash was our instructor and he inspired the sense of privilege and respect for diving. We experienced in real life the devastation of the Great Reef Barrier on a diving trip and also the destruction and pollution of Both the Poles. This became the main goal for me to use diving as a teaching tool of how we affect the environment and the effect we have with the choices we make. I hope to inspire others to make changes so that we can preserve the underwater world and keep our waters pristine.
